London Weekend

In general I am always up for a weekend away, but if the place to visit is London I am especially excited. Over the last weekend I spent a couple of days in one of my favourite cities ever.

As my family and I have already been quite a few times to London, we just wanted to relax, have strolls around and of course eat!

London is the perfect city to walk around without any plan where to go, because you will always end up in lovely corners and every time you visit, you will discover new places. However, I always seem to end up at one of my favourite stores in London: Liberty’s. I am very much aware how touristy Liberty’s is, but still it manages to enchant me every time I go in there, mostly because of the beautiful architecture of the building and the smell or perfume in every corner.

Coffee and Food places

As my drug is coffee, I went to quite a few coffee shops in London. Places I would recommend are Exmouth Coffee Company, Tap Coffee or my absolute favourite White Mulberries. As for “normal food” I had to have a look at The Ivy Chelsea Garden, because I have seen it on so many other blogs and during binge watching my favourite reality show “Made in Chelsea”. These really are my favourite places from the trip this weekend.

The Shard

Another top place to visit is definitely the Shard, with the best view of London there ever could be. I thought of taking a spin with the London Eye, however I changed my mind when I thought of going up the Shard. The view from the 70th floor is so breath-taking and it made my decision even more clear that I want to live in London at some point in my future.

Lastly, I just want to share a view other impressions of my London weekend.
